After fifteen years of trying various treatments for depression and anxiety, including Prozac, I've been surprised at how effective - and fast - Quantum Release has been. I feel calmer and more able to get on with doing what is important to me, free of worry about what I’m not doing. I have more positive energy and feel that the depression and nagging anxiety are fading away day by day. My wife has noticed changes in me and says I am less of a control freak and more laissez faire about things. QR is really different because it treats the feelings you have, rather than the experiences that caused them - so it makes you feel in control of your self, and your feelings about your self. You can decide how to react, even if you're reacting to things that happened years ago. So it turns around the relationship you have with your own emotions. It seems to establish some distance between you and the things you wish had never happened, so you come to see them as just facts rather than constant causes of problems.
Post Script - November 2010
It is now a few months since my last QR session, and I can report that the effects don’t go away! In fact, I’ve found that the initial effect of a session tends to get stronger and then becomes a permanent part of my emotional make-up. With the more traditional ‘talking therapies’, I used to find that it was a constant battle to keep anxiety at bay, and more therapy was often needed. But with QR, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Pound for pound, that seems to make QR good value.
